Menifee became a city in 2008, but parts of it are much older. Sun City, in the middle of Menifee, was built as a retirement community starting in the 1960s, and many of its homes still have early plumbing. Around it, large new neighborhoods have been added since the 2000s.
That makes Menifee two plumbing markets in one. Older Sun City homes see corroded supply pipe, falling water pressure, aging water heaters and repiping. Newer neighborhoods mostly need drains, toilets, faucets and their first water heater replacement.
